About Lesley
Lesley Parry writes speculative fiction that lives at the intersection of story, science, and soul. With a background in biology and music, her work explores the invisible threads that connect ecosystems, memory, art, and empathy—across time, consciousness, and culture.
Her debut series, The Forbidden Gift, imagines a post-collapse world where healing is forbidden and power is entangled with legacy. Through science-fantasy, she writes about transformation: of self, of systems, and of what it means to be human.
Lesley is currently developing additional new speculative fiction projects that unpacks language, myth, and the architecture of belief. Whether writing about collapsing regimes or quantum threads of consciousness, her stories always begin with one question:
What if connection is the most powerful force in the universe?
When she’s not writing, you can find her parenting her two young boys, wandering in the woods, at the piano, doing wheel pottery, or buried in a stack of books.
